Sunday Devo - May 12, 2024

1 Peter 4:12-14
Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;  but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.


It is not unusual for Christians to go through fiery trials. In fact if you are not being tempted or tested then there is something wrong with your life spiritually. You see it’s not supposed to be a strange thing when you are being lured or enticed; but it's more normal for a Christian to go through hard trials.

Looking back on these weeks, have you sacrificed for Christ? Or do you have a lukewarm relationship with God?
