Sunday Devo -July 30, 2023

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ…” ‭‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Habit 2 of Franklin Covey’s The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People is to “Begin with the End in Mind.”  As Christians, we realize that we will one day spend eternity with our Savior (face-to-face).  Moreover, we recognize that this future is possible because of God’s grace and the gift of salvation He offers.  

Praise God that we can look beyond the here and now and consider our glorious future.  By doing so, not only will we be grateful for what He has done for us, but we will live a life (here on earth) that is a response to the amazing grace He has shown us.
