Sunday Devo -July 23, 2023

1 Corinthians 2:4-5  "My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God."

I really admire how straightforward Paul is in this text. He makes it clear that Christ should be the reason for someone to be brought to the feet of Jesus, not a thorough convincing of eloquence.
Sometimes we might get nervous and fumble our words; when all we need to do is focus more on who God is and explain how He is everything we need.

Because at the end of the day it's through the Holy Spirit that the heart changes, not of our own words but of the act of God.
