John 5:5-9 NKJV “Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be well?” The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.” Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”  And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.”

Familiar as this Bible story is to us, it always deserves a second or reminding look. Here are a few points:
1. Jesus is interested in us, loves us, and cares for us.
(Romans 8:39)
2. Jesus is interested in our salvation. (Romans 10:13)
3. Jesus wants us to make requests to Him. (John 16:24)

Jesus is amazing in how He loves us and wants to help us in our lives, we just need to call on Him. (Psalm 145:18)
