“But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men,
but God who tests our hearts.” — 1 Thessalonians 2:4 (NKJV)

Paul was a man on a mission. His life’s goal was to proclaim the gospel, even when the message offended his audience.

Was he disrespectful or harsh in his approach? No. Paul treated people with respect, but he would not compromise the truth. He was willing to endure rejection and hardship (including physical suffering) in order to remain faithful to the full message of Christ.

When God gives you an opportunity to share your faith, do not let fear of people silence you. Please remember that your obedience (in sharing the gospel) pleases God. And, while you may be the mouthpiece, it is God alone who has the power to transform hearts.
