Micah 5:2 NKJV
"But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, [Though] you are little among the thousands of Judah, [Yet] out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth [are] from of old, From everlasting."

I was looking into the announcement about Jesus being born in Bethlehem. I found out that Bethlehem means “house of bread”. I find this interesting since in John 6:35 Jesus says He is the Bread of Life.

John 6:35 NKJV
And Jesus said to them, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.

‘Tis the season to ponder what Jesus means to us and what He has done for us.
