Sunday Devo - December 17, 2023

Psalm 62:1-2 “Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation.
He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly moved”

In these verses, David wants us to know that his faith isn’t in God plus something else, but in God only. David didn’t argue with the enemy or tell God what to do; he simply waited, prayed and trusted that God would give him the kingdom in the Lord’s timing.

 In the same manner we need to analyze our life and see if God is our cornerstone. Do we have faith that is dependent on God alone? Not a faith that is partially on God and our job or friends; but choosing Yahweh over our way.
