Sunday Devo - November 26, 2023

During this time of Thanksgiving, as we are thankful for friends, family, church, God’s
provision, etc.; we should be thankful for God’s gift of salvation and the gift of eternal life.
...knowing that He [God] who raised up the Lord Jesus will also raise us up with Jesus,
and will present us with you. For all things are for your sakes [benefit], that grace,
having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of
God. (2 Corinthians 4:14-16)
As we read the Bible we realize more and more the severity what we are saved from, while
we are so undeserving in our state of sin. Romans 10:9 says “that if you confess with your
mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you
will be saved.”
If you haven’t said this to God yet, today is the day to start your life with God.
Let us thank God this thanksgiving season for His free gift of Salvation and eternal life to
come.
